Belmont Lamination: Chainsaw Carving Public Art for Belmont Park

Setting the stage for The Belmont Breakthrough. Before the chainsaw carving begins, turning 9,000 pounds of laminated timber into a monumental piece of public art for Belmont Park takes serious preparation. Here is a look behind the scenes at our setup—from structural glue-ups and capturing the massive scale, to setting up camera rigs and using night projections before making those initial cuts.
