Where Your Support Goes

Every dollar fuels the mission. Here’s exactly how your contribution helps transform salvaged cypress into art, fund our artists, and support the long-term restoration of the river trail. We believe in open books and honest impact.

Trust and Transparency: A Breakdown of Where Your Donations Go

This $140,000 goal is a direct investment in creating the art and ensuring the professional, safe, and successful execution of this project. Thanks to our foundational partners who have donated all the logs, the event venue, artist lodging, and steel frames, 100% of your cash contribution goes directly to the art and the operations required to make it happen.

Of every dollar you donate, here is our transparent operational plan:

  • 50% goes directly to Program Services (The Art).

  • 30% covers essential Project Management & Production.

  • 20% is allocated for Financial Safeguards & Administration.

Program Services (The Art): $70,000 (50%)

This is the heart of the mission. These funds are paid directly to the 3-person professional artist team, led by master carver Jeff Mohr, for their 14-day "Carving Revival" residency to create the first 5 monumental sculptures for the public art trail.

Project Management & Production: $42,250 (30%)

To ensure the successful and safe execution of this monumental 14-day event, this portion funds the essential "how." This is a crucial investment in professional stewardship, accountability, and safety.

This funding covers:

  • Professional Project Direction: To manage the complex, minute-by-minute logistics of a live event with multiple world-class artists.

  • Safety & Logistics: Funding for dedicated on-site safety management, heavy equipment operation (like cranes and forklifts), and the logistics of moving monumental logs.

  • Operational Costs: Artist travel, event insurance, marketing to bring the community to the event, and all project consumables (fuel, oil, carving supplies, etc.).

Financial Safeguards & Administration: $27,750 (20%)

This portion ensures the project is financially responsible, accountable, and sustainable.

  • Fiscal Sponsorship Fee (8% - $11,200): This covers the 8% administrative fee for our fiscal sponsor, Fractured Atlas, which allows us to receive tax-deductible donations and provides essential operational support.

  • Project Resilience Fund (~12% - $16,550): As with any large-scale artistic production, this fund is set aside for unexpected overruns or surprises, ensuring we can deliver the project on time and on budget without having to make a second appeal.

TOTAL: $140,000

This art trail is the "key" to our long-term "Riverbank Revival" mission. Your contribution today doesn't just fund art; it launches a movement to heal the river from the roots up.
