• The Plan: Use the evening to strategize and sketch for morning review.

The Elements: Use the Free Elements Library or the Texas State Symbols and Persona & Symbols List to enhance your carve with our states icons.

A: That’s the challenge! All 36 topics are available online for advance planning.

Q: Can carvers trade or swap cards after the draw?

A: No. You draw 3 cards, offering plenty of choices—you carve the hand you pick.

Q: Do I get extra points for picking a human over an animal or landmark?

A: No. All cards are weighted equally—judges focus on execution and craft.

Q: Do I get extra points for stacking multiple items from the Free Elements Library?

A: No. Extra elements enhance your scene, but quality is key.
